An update of sorts: I still use, and love, the Oil Cleanse Method. For toner, during the summer, I was using either straight up Witch Hazel extract or a combination of green tea and apple cider vinegar. When the weather turned cold and dry a few months ago I found both to be a bit too harsh and drying. I had picked up this rose flower water at the grocery store because I thought the bottle was quaint though I had no idea what to do with it. Somewhere along the way I heard of using rose water as a toner. I tried it and found it left my skin incredibly soft not to mention beautifully smelly. I don't know whether this particular rose water is organic or mixed with any other dangerous chemicals but I ignore that concern because all the words on the bottle (aside from 'Rose Flower Water') are in French and like any girl who likes stripes and messy buns and Amelie I'll buy into anything French.

Yay! I have this for cooking...and would love to put it on my face!
It's been fun to have daily glimpses of your life lately ... please continue :)
And, wow, never thought of that. I'll try just for the lovely scent that will be with me for hours.
How very sensible of you to not worry about it being organic. Anything French couldn't be bad, could it?
This is funny -- since I started doing the oil cleanse, I've been using a Burt's Bees Rosewater toner. Love it!
