The delay on this review was not because the book was uninteresting, but rather it was too interesting. I savored it. I didn't want it to end but my two week turnaround deadline was long past so I finally finished it and wrote the review. All I really want to say about this book is READ IT!! But Blogcritics frowns on too many caps and exclamation points so the dry, stuffy, real review is here.

My understanding of solipsism is rusty, but your writing is outstanding. A very nice balance of giving a novice an overview of Eliot's mission and Kirk's take on it. Like Dad, I have to go through the article with a copy of "Philosophy for Dummies" clutched in hand, but stylistically, I think this is an excellent improvement over your last piece. You inspire me!
I can see that I'm going to have to stop trying to be funny...it just isn't working. I'll leave the clever lines to the writers in the family.
Another book for my list!
