The beginning...

"Inside those years, they had no reason to hurry. They were young. Their world was clean. It was church on Sunday. It was reading books, soaking in the bathtub. Picking wild berries and making jelly at night, when the white kitchen was cool with a breeze, the windows up. They always knew the phase of the moon, but seldom the day of the week." Diary - Chuck Palahniuk

Good. Good choice. Excuse my ignorance, but who is Chuck?

Chuck wrote 'Fight Club' and the also cleverly thrilling 'Diary' - good airplane book.

Lovely picture and choice quote.

Enjoy those years of no hurry! I find my feet pattering more quickly now to keep the pace of a two-year old. Oh, yes, we still marvel at the moon, but we are rarely awake to see it (oh, and I still have NO idea what day it is...that gets worse).
